Had a fun evening today with @arsanatomica helping prepare a very small chameleon dissection. I didn’t puncture the lung which is borderline a miracle. Can’t wait for the professional photos.

I’m severely near sighted and in order to see what I was doing the glasses had to come off and I was practically nose deep in this little girl so I didn’t pop her practically invisible lungs.

So many firsts, helping out at the emergency shelter….. mostly regarding poultry.

First time giving sq fluids to a bird.

First time doing an IM injection in a bird.

First time doing this to a bird.

She burned her toes off. ;_; but she should survive okay and has an adopter waiting for her.
